Red Augey Bordeaux 2006

This wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. I was wanting to try this Bordeaux, but was hesitant because I am not a big fan of Cab Francs. The wine is a full bodied wine with a ton of ripe red fruit. It even says so on the bottle. The ripe fruit added a tartness to it. This wine would be great with a nice hearty meal. I bought this bottle at the Taj Ma Teeter down the road. It was about $10.00. I got the White Augey as well. Can't wait to try it.

  1. Maybe I should stop taking portrait photos.

  2. I tried the 2007 vintage recently, and it's still pretty good--an easy wine to drink. I quoted your review over on my blog.
